Sustainable Business

Indigo Brave operates as a triple bottom line company, focusing on sustainable growth by auditing our impact on people, planet, and profit, while running social enterprise projects like the SELF initiative for youth, the volunteer-run Basket Brigade for holiday hampers, and nature-based mental health support.

SELF Camps

Empowering teenagers with tools and skills to navigate challenges and thrive in their transition to adulthood.

Our mission is to empower teenagers with a strong sense of SELF, purpose, and choice, equipping them to lead fulfilling lives. We provide girls and boys, between the ages of 13 and 15, with the tools and skills to navigate challenges like bullying, body image, self-harm, anxiety, learning difficulties, family issues, and healthy relationships.

Our approach focuses on overcoming attitudes, beliefs, and behaviours that hinder growth, using proven models and practical methods to support their transition from childhood to adulthood.

Nurtured by Nature

We continue to support individuals with long-term mental health histories, harnessing the power of our models, which are further enriched through group activities in natural settings.

Our current approach, ‘Gardening for Wellbeing’, is based at the Hocketon Housing project.

Basket Brigade

Spreading kindness each Christmas by delivering volunteer-prepared hampers to those in need across Nottinghamshire.

Basket Brigade Notts began in 2003 after being inspired by Tony Robbins' initiative to spread kindness by delivering Christmas hampers to those in need.

Since then, we've grown every year, remaining 100% volunteer-run with no admin costs, and now deliver over 1,000 hampers annually across Nottinghamshire. Each hamper, filled with gifts and treats, includes a handwritten card offering love and encouragement from the community.

We partner with local businesses, gather donations, and support vulnerable groups like young carers, families recovering from trauma, and those experiencing homelessness. We're always seeking more volunteers, donations, and support to keep spreading the love.
