At Indigo Brave, we believe that everyone deserves to feel empowered, confident, and truly valued in both their personal and professional life.

In our group coaching sessions, we dive deep into the real-life struggles and challenges women face when trying to show up authentically and confidently in their careers - and we’re here to offer tangible, practical tools to help you shift, grow, and thrive.

Recently, we held a powerful group coaching call where we explored the themes of self-worth, setting boundaries, and stepping into the confidence required to lead with authenticity. Here’s a recap of some of the key takeaways from the conversation that we hope will inspire and empower you too.

1. Recognising and Owning Your Self-Worth

A key theme in the conversation was the importance of recognizing and owning your self-worth. Too often, as women, we can be conditioned to doubt ourselves or minimize our achievements, leading to imposter syndrome or a lack of confidence.

But here’s the truth: you are worthy simply because you exist.

As one of our coaching participants shared, “I had to realize that I don't need to prove my worth to anyone anymore. My value doesn't depend on external validation.”

It’s an empowering moment when you stop seeking approval and instead start affirming your own worth. Self-acceptance is the foundation for confidence, and once you truly embrace your value, you can lead with an unwavering sense of self-belief.

2. Setting Boundaries and Protecting Your Energy

One of the most powerful steps to creating a fulfilling life is learning how to set clear, healthy boundaries.

Without boundaries, we can quickly burn out, feel overwhelmed, and begin to lose sight of our personal needs and goals. Boundaries aren’t about being rigid or saying “no” to everything; they are about protecting your energy and showing up as your best self in all areas of your life.

During our group coaching, a participant shared a recent struggle with setting boundaries at work. She said, “I’ve always said yes to everything, wanting to be seen as reliable, but I was stretched too thin. I’ve now learned that saying no doesn’t mean I’m not a team player. It means I’m respecting my own limits.”

Setting boundaries isn’t always easy, but it’s an essential practice for preserving your well-being and reclaiming control over your time. It’s okay to say no when something doesn’t align with your priorities or values - and doing so allows space for things that truly energize and fulfil you.

3. Stepping into Confidence and Leading with Courage

Confidence is something that grows over time.

It’s not about waiting for the perfect moment, but rather about stepping into your power and acting as though you already believe in yourself. One of the most powerful strategies we discussed during the coaching session was the idea of “acting as if.” Acting as if you already have the confidence you seek helps you bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be.

A participant shared, “I’ve always hesitated to take the lead in meetings, thinking I wasn't experienced enough. But I’ve started showing up as though I’m already a leader—and it’s incredible how much more I’ve been able to contribute.”

When you step into confidence, even in small moments, you begin to see your growth. Confidence is contagious - when you lead with courage, others will follow.

4. Practical Tips for Empowering Yourself Every Day

Here are some simple yet powerful tips to help you integrate these practices into your daily life:

  • Affirm your worth: Start each day by reminding yourself of what you’ve accomplished and the value you bring to every space you occupy.

  • Practice saying no: It doesn’t have to be harsh. A gentle “I’m unable to take this on right now, but thank you for thinking of me” can go a long way in protecting your energy.

  • Lead with courage: Take small steps every day to act as if you already have the confidence you desire. Whether that’s speaking up in a meeting or owning your accomplishments, the more you practice, the easier it becomes.

  • Celebrate your wins: Take a moment to acknowledge your progress—no matter how small. This reinforces your sense of self-worth and keeps you motivated to keep going.

5. The Journey of Transformation is Ongoing

The work we do in group coaching is just the beginning of a powerful transformation. It’s about giving yourself permission to grow, to shift, and to step into your full potential, without fear or self-doubt holding you back.

The greatest joy of our work is being a part of your journey as you transform into the woman you’re meant to be. Whether you're looking to build confidence, set boundaries, or embrace your worth, the path to a more fulfilling and empowered life is within your reach.
